Impact Stories
Lenitria
DIME is an organization that allowed me to understand the true definition of beauty. I learned how to love myself and the importance of taking care of myself physically, mentally, and emotionally. I will forever be grateful for DIME and how the organization formed me into the woman I am today.
SiCoya
DIME is an organization that molds, motivate and uplift young girls as they are transitioning in age. DIME lifted my confidence, taught me valuable life skills and helped me foster a positive growth mindset. Without DIME, I would not have met such wonderful people who turned into family. It also shaped me into a well rounded individual in order to excel in society which I am forever grateful for!

DIME began as an impromptu after-school activities program with a small group of girls led by our founder, Kartrice Monique Greaves, who wanted to teach them baking, life skills and promote good self-esteem.
Since then, the program has expanded to include empowerment programs for boys, girls and teens throughout Hendry County.
The group officially became a 501(c)3 in September 2012. Its graduates have gone on to become prominent community members both in Hendry County and elsewhere.
